New Aesthetic 3 is the third edition of our book project on Independent Typography and expressive type design. Working together with Sophia Brinkgerd, we curated a collection of amazingly unique typefaces by independent designers. We are looking at type design with a benevolence to experiments and processes, finding potential in the unusual, that might point us into a new future of approaching and practicing visual communication.

New Aesthetic was published by Sorry Press and is available in curated art and design bookstores worldwide.
This spring, we had the honor to host an exclusive release event of Issue 3 in Paris together with Sorry Press at the popular Marais art book store 0fr.Paris, celebrating with contributors and visitors, and sharing meaningful conversations about contemporary typography and the art of type design.
